Marcie McCabe began dancing in Jacksonville, FL 1998. Within a year of her first lesson, she signed on with a ballroom studio training for four months in all the basics of the ballroom dances. She later left the ballroom studio to focus more on the classic swing dances of the 1920's-1940's. In 2000, she partnered with Adam Boehmer. The two began competing locally, regionally and nationally in competitions such as Bolero's Ballroom Competiton 2001 (Jacksonville, FL), Camp Hollywood 2000 Collegiate Shag Division (Los Angles, CA), Summer Swing Jam 2002 & 2003 (Atlanta, Ga), American Lindy Hop Championships 2002: ALHC: (Stamford, CT), Ultimate Lindy Hop Showdown 2005 (St Paul, MN). Recent successes include 2nd place with Don Kruse in the Lindy Divsion at Swing Dance USA in Tampa, FL. Solo Jazz Performance with Crista Seipp at Swing Dance Usa.
